This week in Reading: Students will receive their new AR goals, complete an ERQ,, and read some folktales.
This week in English: Students work on adverbs.
This week in Writing: Students will continue writing their own poem using poetic devices like repetition, similes, metaphors, etc.
This week in Math Students will compare and order decimals using tenths and hundredths. A purple study guide was sent home last Thursday for a test this week. Some classes will take their test on Thursday. Others will be taking it on Friday. Your child's test date is written at the top of his/her study guide.
This week in Science students will review the concepts of organisms structures and functions. We will complete a district based structures and functions in class this week. Next week we will start our last module unit. This unit will focus on Land and Water.
This week in Social Studies students will discuss the impact of a new century in Kentucky.
