This week in Reading: Students will be working on determining point of view in fiction text and working on roots/affixes.
This week in English: Students will continuing to learn more about adjectives.
This week in Writing: Students will finish a restaurant review and complete an On Demand writing piece.
This week in Math Students will use a protractor to measure angles to the nearest degree. They will also explore the additive property of angles.
*There will be a list of Geometry vocabulary words coming home in your child's folder on Monday. Please study these over the course of the week. Geometry is heavy in vocabulary, and knowing these terms is essential to doing well in this area of Math. I am looking at giving the test around March 1. .
This week in Science students will create both series and parallel circuits. They will have to know the differences between the two. VOCABULARY TEST ON THURSDAY DUE TO SNOW DAY.
This week in Social Studies students will start discussing how Kentucky grew and changed as a state.
